Hi..
This week at sassy I've created cards
using some of the patterned paper from Bella blvd just add colour
The first card I created I was thinking about our moodboard for this month
I absolutely loved this heart paper
I backed it on some red cardstock and
I got out my fiskars lace border punch and punched each top and bottom
I fussy cut some cute flowers from another bit of patterned paper from Bella blvd collection
I was thinking a cluster of 3 so I added a little heart chipboard
And using the heidi swapp die cut word lovely as my sentiment
Just has to add some chipboard to the bottom of the card
And for my second card I added the we are memory keepers vellum over my whole white card
And machine stitched the seem so it really could be a mini book card
I die cut a Polaroid frame from one of the just add colour patterned papers and added some
chipboard and stickers from the just add colour sticker sheet

Using the Anastasia die set I die cut 2 of the little borders and and tucking them under the top and bottom of my card
I added a bit of lace behind the border and some silver glitter glue along the edge of the pattern paper I die cut the the circle doily in red and just the circle in white cardstock and layered them with a bit of foam tape giving it dimension added a bit more silver glitter glue around my white circle
Then I die cut the ice crystal using the Christmas emporium paper and cut out the be merry for my sentiment and added on top
And the holy leaves from the Christmas label set green cardstock I popped under the flowers at the top and bottom of my of my doily circle

In the past few weeks I've been looking back through photos of my 3 daughters
When they where little, I guess time has passed so quickly it doesn't really feel that long ago..
I've printed this photo of my daughter eve she is about month old and a fussy little thing
I remember this photo well as she had been up quite a few times during the night and she had fallen asleep on my chest...it's the little moments that take you back.
I used the stars stencil with texture paste and watercolour on my background
The vellum over the stripped blue patterned paper added a different look and I like how muted it looks .
I tucked some of the just add colour patterned papers and added some yellow watercolour to the stars
And a doily to soften the blue And added a little pink .
I loved adding all the little elements .
The stickers are bright and fun and the alphabet stickers give that verity of colour
And the sequins added a pop of colour across the page.

Hi..
This morning I woke up early..and wanted to start the day bright and fun
And I've been eyeing off this moodboard challenge over the weekend and thought I needed to give it ago!
A Mustard Explosion!
The Criteria:
Use Kraft as your background
Draw inspiration from the photo
and
Use Yellow Paint on your creation.
Use Kraft as your background
Draw inspiration from the photo
and
Use Yellow Paint on your creation.
So here is what I come up with
I wanted to use a big k on my layout I've used my cameo to cut it out
and this photo I had previously printed
The paint wasn't as bright as it was when it was wet it's like a light yellow almost like a light lemon
I pulled out a few papers along with some flowers I had fussy cut in my stash
Just had to fussy cut that heart of so cute
With all the flowers and leaves
I think I've been liking my layouts more simple but still with lots of colours
I can't believe how quickly this layout came together
Thanks for the inspiration I totally needed a bright fun challenge
